I was finally able to purchase "Early Mormonism and the Magic Word View" by D. Michael Quinn, which has a section on Mormon Pyramidology.  Isaac Newton founded Noahide Pyramidology, but it seemed to disappear from the public until 1859 when John Taylor published "The Great Pyramid".  Where did Pyramidology go in between and was it kept alive by Freemasonry? Joseph Smith died before 1859, so if he were a pyramidologist he could have only picked it up from Freemasons or by reading Newton himself.  In the book by D. Michael Quinn I found no evidence that Joseph Smith was involved in Pyramidology, but the later church definitely was. However, like Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Science and Seventh Day Adventists, Mormonism abandoned pyramidology after it failed to make accurate predictions.  Just because Joseph  Smith did not appear to be a Pyramidologist does not mean that later Mormon pyramidology was not influenced by Freemasonry.
